“The last few months have been the most amazing in my life”, says Fr. Geofrey Kamau, SVD, as we walk across the parking lot of the Brother Beausang Catholic Education Centre in Ngong, Nairobi; when I paid him a visit on June. Fr. Geofrey is completing his studies in Education at the Catholic University of East Africa in Nairobi.
Recently he finished his teaching practice experience and he did so in style. He and his 50 students visited the Resurrection Garden in Karen, Nairobi. Fr. Geoffrey tell me that teaching at the centre and celebrating mass every Tuesday was a wonderful experience. he says that the most touching experience was to see the muslim students appreciating and taking an active part in the Eucharist including the procession of the Word in songs and dance.
Fr. Geoffrey has since been appointed the rector of the SVD Philosophy Seminary. we wish you all the best in your teaching ministry baba.
