On Monday the 10 July 2017, Fr. Tony Amissah, the new Kenya-Tanzania Provincial, landed in Nairobi from the Provincials, Regionals and Mission Superior’s workshop in Nemi and the following day travelled to Arusha Tanzania to visit and talk to the confreres working in the district.
On his visit he also met The Archbishop Josaphat Lebulu of Arusha Archdiocese, in which we have 5 parishes run by SVD. SVD has a significant presence in the Archdioces. From one parish in Arusha four have been born of which two have been given to other congregations. The provincial said that the Archbishop was very happy with his visit and also with the presence of SVD in the Archdiocese.
Talking to him as I dropped him to catch the afternoon bus back to Nairobi, Fr. Provincial said that his visit was fruitful and was happy to have met many confreres.
