After 5 year of waiting, the Church of Arusha was today blessed with 3 priests, who were ordained in our SVD Epiphany parish in Burka, Arusha. In his homily the Ordaining prelate, Archbishop Josaphat Louis Lebulu, the Archbishop of Arusha Archdiocese, said that the Church of Arusha has been barren for 5 years but today her womb has been blessed with three new and young priest.
It was all emotional and tears of joy for those in attendance as the newly ordained priest climbed the stairs to the altar. More than 2000 people attended the celebration. Our SVD parish has been blessed to host this historic celebration since the last one 5 years ago.
We wish our newly ordained Priests God’s guidance and health in their assignment.
