The process of transferring the Philosophy program from Nairobi to Arusha has been long and tedious. First because of limitations in resources and secondly because of technical issues. However, after hard work put in by various stakeholders and with the leadership of the Provincial and his council, 2021 became the blessed year.
As we mobilized funds to complete the seminary, the student settled at Holy Trinity Parish Elect in Morombo Arusha to begin their classes at the Spiritan Seminary in August 2021.
On 04.05.2022 the first group of students graduated with very encouraging grades. There was one Summa Cum Laude and five Magna Cum Laude.
The rector Fr. Arata Sato, SVD, and the Perfect Fr. Eric Lacandula, SVD graced the occasion. We congratulate our first batch of student seminarians to graduate in Tanzania with such wonderful grades. This will encourage many more to join the seminary.
