The greatest Gift that God gives to his people is that of a good Priest. A caring and a servant priest who understands his missions and leads his people to experience the love and compassion of God. These are paraphrased word of His Lordship Bishop Joseph Obanyi Sagwe of Kakamega Diocese, during the ordination of Fr. Alex Omondi, SVD, together with 6 other priests and 2 deacons from the Congregation of the missions.
The solemn celebration took place at De Paul Center in Langata Nairobi on Saturday 26/05/27. Fr. Alex becomes the 15th Kenyan priest to be ordained since the SVD started accepting local vocations in the early mid 1990s.
Fr. Alex has been sent to serve as a missionary in Germany. We thank the Lord for this great gift to his Church and we pray for Fr. Alex that he ma find happiness in serving in the vineyard of the Lord. Hongera sana Baba Alex.
