On Tuesday 21/11/2017, six confreres met at the Provincial House in Gigiri Nairobi, to prepare for the forth coming Provinvial Chapter early next year. Among them was one of the very first missionaries to Kenya, Bro. Karl Schaarschmidt, who was celebrating his 73rd birthday.
Brother Karl came to Kenya in 1985 just a few months after the estsblishment of SVD mission in Kenya. He has since worked passionately towards the development of the province. Brother Karl is currently in charge of the Development Office.
